Vivek Dave

Vivek Dave serves as the Director of the Cambridge Innovation Hub for HARTING Inc. of North America, the American subsidiary of a German privately-held family-owned business. Since the mid 1990s, Vivek has been solving difficult problems for customers around the world at the intersection of materials engineering, manufacturing, and quality control. In particular, Vivek has been working with many of the foundational technologies which today constitute the IIoT and Industry 4.0 approach including sensing, data reduction, feature extraction, fault identification, and fault classification. Vivek has applied these skills in Fortune 50 aerospace companies, National Labs, startups, and in his current role. He received his undergraduate degree with honors in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology, and completed his Masters and Doctorate work at MIT in Materials Science and Engineering.
